Definitive Issue

Australian Native Wildlife

Australia
Australia is home to a range of distinctive native wildlife. Our rich biodiversity includes 358 native mammal species, which are supported by the varied and sometimes fragile ecosystems that comprise Australia's natural environment. This new international definitive issue of six stamps features animals from the three main subclasses of modern Australian mammals.

Other products are a first day cover, maxi card set and a stamp pack. There is also a booklet of postcards, including postage worldwide, which will be released 2 May 2006.
