|"Vine and wine form pat of the age-long, historic and cultural Greek heritage.|
Today, the particularity of Greek wine-making lies with the different micro-climates developed throughout the Greek territory, on one hand, and the vast number of indigenous vine varieties, on the other; at least 350 indigenous varieties have been identified. In our country, the soil, climate, slopes, frequent proximity to the sea and the bright sun, offer excellent conditions for vine to thrive and grow. Amidst this unique combination of vineyards and varieties, Greek wine makers utilize modern production methods, but also preserve the traditional relation with the vine, thus creating excellent quality wines."
